In mid-November, the 6 of us Kyoto Seika Textiles Master's Students are holding a group exhibition, "how how" in an old former elementary school in downtown Kyoto. The school, "Rissei Shougakkou" is now a cultural heritage building thanks to it's retro western-style architecture. The internals of the building are still in 1960's style classrooms, complete with original blackboards, library books, bag hooks, etc etc.
It will be a very interesting place to exhibit! There are 6 of us exhibiting and we will each have our work in a separate classroom. Come along and do some exploring!
November 12-19th, daily 12-7pm (last day til 5pm)
Entry is Free.
Rissei Shougakkou (Former Elementary School) is located on the West-side of Kiyamachi Street, halfway between Sanjo and Shijo Streets.
